Don Davies shared this wonderful photograph of his family's cottage, taken in the 1940s. It's interesting to note the sand between the water's edge and the grass. This must have been how all of Blue Lake looked prior to the dam being built in the early 1950's. The dam raised the lake level by 1-2 feet so the sand was covered with the higher water level.
